The initial visit is a lengthy 2-3 hour medical consultation with Dr. Torres. The fee for this is $850 (effective April 1, 2023).
Follow-up visits (in-person or virtually) will cost $250-300 based on complexity.
Upstream Medical Consults does not accept insurance or Medicare, and we do not file insurance paperwork on your behalf.
We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. Full payment is expected at the time of visit.

What to bring to the appointment

- You should bring all your vitamins and medications in their original containers if possible.
Unless you feel it unnecessary or counterproductive, Dr. Torres recommends that you bring your spouse, or a close family member, especially the person who prepares the food at home or decides on most family and health matters. The office visit can be loaded with information and it is better to have another set of ears to listen to the instructions. Be prepared to take notes too.
We do not speak Spanish but if you bring an English-speaking family member, we can still have a successful office visit.
Dr. Torres is an Internal Medicine physician and sees adults only.
